A higher, more expansive panorama of Tuolumne Meadows and the surrounding Sierra Nevada peaks than nearby Pothole Dome, but also a more moderately difficult hike, with more uphill climbing. From the trailhead parking lot by Tuolumne Meadows Lodge, it's a 1.8-mile or nearly 3 km hike. You can also hike from the Lembert Dome Picnic Area off of Tioga Road.
