Traveling with a local friend

We LOVED the Shaka guide app! We used it for Road to Hana, Sunrise at Haleakala, and some of the North Shore beaches and had smooth sailing! We couldn’t understand why people had such a hard time on road to Hana because it felt so simple for us. Obviously it was the invaluable advice of this Shaka guide app! The guide quickly felt like a joyful, kind, local friend who traveled along and showed us all the must sees while telling us the history and fun stories of where we were. Times when my family was driving while we weren’t on a tour my kids would beg to put in on so they could hear the Shaka guide. It’s a must have if you value immersing yourself in local culture, peace, joy, adventure, and knowledge while traveling.

This app made our first family trip to Oahu unforgettable

This app experience was amazing. This is our first family trip to Oahu. I had been here many many years ago with friends, but we learned so much. Got to see way more than we ever would have. Had we gone on our own our family loved all the great stops the history of Oahu, the hidden beaches that we found and all the amazing eateries I’m telling you within two days of using this app I had already started sending it out to all my friends, recommending it to everyone that I could this Shaka Guide is worth its weight and gold and I’ll just tell you right at the bat just get the whole island experience don’t waste your time just buying one they make it so affordable you get to see so much I can’t stop speaking about how amazing this was thanks to the Shaka Guide. You really made our first family trip to Oahu unforgettable and amazing.

I've used the Shaka Guide for both the road to Hana and the Oahu tours. Tours with my kids and alone with my wife. The Shaka Guide is the best example of technology making our lives better. the driving directions are very helpful and keeps you from having to keep looking at your GPS and let's you look out the windows, which is the point of being on vacation, right? The narration is the right blend of history and humor. Even the music is great, setting the vibe for the trip. We love it!
