Show MoreTried the Grand Teton National Park tour instead of paying for a guided trip. I was hoping to get some ideas on where to go and a route for the day but I got so much more! The app is really well designed. Although it does not work with Android Auto, the audio was sufficient to guide us from one destination to the next. We really enjoyed the stories that went along with each of the stops. some were historical, some were scientific, all were entertaining.
L Scott | 1 day ago | Androidonly reason it isn't 5 stars is because it did not have android auto integration and the music quality was very low. It was otherwise perfect. extremely helpful. Great, relaxing tunes for the drive even if they were low quality. the guide was informative and interesting. directions were pretty good, though I would have loved seeing the app on the screen in the car. It was worth every penny though.

George Ronkette | 2 days ago | AndroidWe’ve been to Kauai many times and thought we knew it well. The Shaka guided tours took us to new sites and gave us very interesting Hawaiian history along the way. We love the ability to go at our own pace, spending more or less time at locations vs the schedules of much higher priced guided bus tours. We have the Kauai bundle as well as tours covering all of Oahu and the Maui Road to Hanna. 5 stars for customer service as well. We had an issue with the download to a second, backup phone. I chatted from the app and had immediate contact with a real person. Solved in 2 minutes. Thank you Shaka!!

The Library of Congress, located directly across the street, is the largest library in the world and one of the most architecturally stunning buildings in the city — free timed-entry tickets are available online. The Supreme Court of the United States is also steps away and open to visitors on weekdays, with free building tours and limited seating available for oral arguments.
The Folger Shakespeare Library, home to the world’s largest collection of Shakespeare’s printed works, is nearby and free to enter with a suggested donation. The US Botanic Garden, at the base of the Capitol grounds, is a free indoor and outdoor conservatory open seven days a week. Show MoreVisitors to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. should plan for a full day to make the most of the area. Shaka Guide’s Capitol Hill Walking Tour takes approximately 2 to 4 hours to complete, covering 14 stops on a clockwise loop around the Capitol building.
If you plan to go inside any of the major buildings, budget additional time: a guided Capitol tour typically takes 60 to 90 minutes, a self-guided visit to the Library of Congress can take 1 to 2 hours, and exploring the Supreme Court and the Folger Shakespeare Library each adds another 30 to 60 minutes.
Arriving early in the morning allows you to complete the walking tour, visit the buildings, and still have time for lunch at Eastern Market or nearby restaurants before heading out.
