I wanted to share a quick update about the David Wills House in Gettysburg.
The David Wills House is currently closed until further notice, and there has been no announcement regarding a reopening date. This site is best known as the place where President Lincoln stayed before delivering the Gettysburg Address, and it is typically open for tours as part of the town’s historic experience.
If you’re planning a visit, I recommend checking the official National Park Service website before your trip for the latest updates on its status. Staff at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center can also provide current information and suggest alternate historic sites that remain open.
While this closure may affect your plans in town, many other key sites throughout Gettysburg and the battlefield remain accessible. As always, be sure to confirm hours and access details ahead of your visit.

5. Can I take the Gettysburg Historic Walking Tour in the opposite direction?
The tour only goes in one direction. Users will start at the Tour Center and proceed north, following Baltimore Street. Once users get to Lincoln Square (the main hub of Historic Gettysburg), they will return southbound along Baltimore Street
6. Can I join the Gettysburg Historic Walking Tour along the route?
