Shaka Guide is a great app for exploring the US’s wide open spaces. I’ve used the Shaka Guide at Joshua Tree and Hawaii Volcanoes NP and have not been disappointed. The app is easy to use with designated starting points for each tour. The narration is insightful providing a mix of cultural, historical, and natural information and the addition of music in between each stop is fantastic and helps make the journey more enjoyable on those long drives. I highly recommend!

Discovered Shaka four years ago when in Maui. Purchased the Road to Hana guide and it was outstanding. Loved it so much that we stayed on the backside of the tour. We’re in Palm Springs this week, and visited JTNP today. Last minute decision to purchase the Shaka tour for the park. Honestly made the trip much more enjoyable - and efficient. I can’t fathom why anybody wouldn’t use this guide for this particular NP. Thank you for a great day, and well not make the mistake of traveling without Shaka in the future!

We love Shaka Guides. Joshua Tree tour was excellent. We only did the Western to Northern loop. Wish we had more time to do the Southern entrance loop. Content, music, stories - all informative and interesting. The only thing was that the app did not pair well with Apple Car Play. It was glitchy. Every time the guide talked, it would switch to my phone. I had to pause and play for it to go back thru Apple Car Play. A little annoying. Overall an excellent tour. Can’t wait to do another one.

Joshua Tree National Park

I am so glad I purchased this audio tour for Joshua Tree. It kept myself, my husband and my two adult daughters entertained and informed during what could have been a boring drive. There are spots in this national park where you really are not looking at anything at all, but the audio was telling us stories and singing songs that made us laugh. Totally recommend!

Went to Joshua Tree with a party of four. Shaka guided us through every step of the journey and even found us a great place to eat just outside the park. Can’t wait to use this resource again.
